Cosmobill is a self-serve invoicing tool. You (the seller) set an amount and a description and send your customer a link. Your customer fills in their own billing details on that link and pays. Cosmobill runs the invoicing workflow (links, statuses, receipts); it never takes custody of your money.
Cosmobill offers three plans: Comet (free, up to 5 invoices/month, Cosmobill branding on invoices), Planet ($5/month, unlimited invoices, your own branding), and Galaxy ($10/month, everything in Planet plus additional team and template features). Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly basis through PayPal Subscriptions and can be started, changed, or cancelled at any time from Settings → Plan. Cancelling stops future billing immediately and downgrades your account to the free Comet plan.
If you're not happy with Planet or Galaxy, cancel within 7 days of your first subscription charge and we'll refund that charge in full - just contact Support with your account email. Outside that 7-day window, we don't prorate or refund partial months; cancelling simply stops future billing.
When your customer pays by PayPal, card, Venmo, or Pay-in-4 on an invoice, the payment is created through the PayPal Orders API and routes directly to your own PayPal account using the payout email you provide in Settings → Integrations. Cosmobill's PayPal integration only brokers the checkout session on the invoice page; the money itself never passes through, and is never held by, Cosmobill. If you offer bank transfer as a payment option, there is no automated bank processor involved: your customer self-reports that they've sent the transfer, and the invoice only moves to "paid" once you personally confirm the funds arrived in your own bank account. Cosmobill is not a party to, and has no visibility into, your bank transfers.
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure, for the accuracy of the amounts, descriptions, and payout details you enter, and for complying with any tax or reporting obligations that apply to the payments you receive (PayPal is responsible for any 1099-K reporting tied to your PayPal account). You must be legally able to enter into this agreement and to send invoices for the goods or services you describe.
Billing details your customer submits on an invoice link (name, email, company, address, tax ID, phone, PO number, notes - whichever fields you've chosen to collect) are stored so the invoice can be generated and so you and that customer can see it. You can cancel your paid subscription at any time from Settings → Plan, which stops future billing. You can also permanently delete your entire Cosmobill account from Settings → Account, which immediately and irreversibly deletes your account, your sessions, and every invoice you've created. This action cannot be undone and we cannot recover deleted data afterward.
Cosmobill runs on Cloudflare's edge network and Cloudflare D1. We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability and aren't liable for outages caused by our infrastructure providers, PayPal, or other third-party services we depend on.
Cosmobill is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including disputes between you and your customers over payments, goods, or services.
We may update these terms from time to time; the "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continuing to use Cosmobill after a change means you accept the updated terms.
